August 2024 - Main System 14 Upgrade.

"As one might expect, the twice as costly Nash truly delivers with a richer, fuller, more robust, more organic and more realistic delivery.

But just like any piece of High-End gear, it can only work with what it is given and the Nash deserves Premium Source components.

It will probably come as no surprise that I wholeheartedly recommend both Phono Stages. Not only that but I also decided to keep them both as ...

My personal favorites and to serve as "References" in their respective price categories".

French Review Translation

"There is much to like about Nash"

https://www.afdigitale.it/la-recensione-dell-m2tech-nash-il-meglio-del-digitale-e-dellanalogico/

"A real surprise this one, with a giant-killing sonic performance that was completely unexpected given its compact form-factor and relatively modest price. At its heart is passive resistor network RIAA correction that somehow manages to deliver an astonishing level of dynamic expression and detail, topped off with a whopping 95dB of available moving coil cartridge gain (65dB for moving magnet). The Nash as reviewed is powered by a wall-wart, but a larger stand-alone power supply can be added to lift performance even higher". KF

Kevin Fiske takes Rock-Star Nash for a 'SPIN'

"I hope readers will forgive my nod of approval towards Manunta. His Nash Phono Stage is a cracker of a product".

"And here all the conjectures, ideas and reasoning, must necessarily give way to what the ears hear and the brain decodes.

And this decoding tells me that Nash is a tool that not only takes away the ’illogical desire for Analog’ but feeds it continuously and continuously satisfies it".

Nash MC/MM Phono Preamplifier

You control the Nash by the front panel encoder, using the Remote control or by the dedicated app via Bluetooth. Operation data are displayed on a high readability OLED display. A menu allows for setting parameters like - anti-rumble filter, MM input stage gain etc.

Two auxiliary line-level inputs make the Nash a hub or switching box for Analog sources. An interesting add-on ... when the Nash is used together with the Young MkIII - to fully exploit the latter’s only Analog input. A Young MkIII-Nash-based system enables provision for a total of four Analog Sources - two Phono and two line-level.

The Nash noise and sound performance levels can be further increased - by replacing the stock wall PSU with the reference Van Der Graaf MkII Low Noise Power Supply.

Our own Dr. Richard Varey provides a down-under Nash opinion - writing for Italian magazine TNT Audio :

"He owns it"

Joplin MkIII 384kHz/32 Bit ADC/Phono :

The Joplin MKIII ia an excellent Phono Stage ... and more.

"Analogue to Digital"

The perfect Analog port for a Digital Audio System with I2S output.

Product Reviews

Dr. Richard Varey reports on 'Rockstar' Nash performance :

"The newest member of the M2Tech Rockstars series of innovative components turns in a truly Rockstar performance".

Uniquely owning Nash for one of his Turntable Systems, Richard is well placed to gauge Joplin MKIII performance - just as a Phono Stage.

Witchdoctor NZ report :

"I connected my Sumiko Pearl with JICO SAS Stylus 1 (mounted on The Wand Plus tonearm on the Amari LP32s turntable) to the Joplin and set the load to 47k. I connected the Joplin to my PC with a Belkin USB cable, and to the Black Ice Audio Fusion DAC CD Transport coax input with a Supra TRICO-RCA 75 Ohm double-shielded coaxial digital interconnect.

Technically, this is a very special audiophile product indeed. The ability to render analogue sound without the so-called digital character, with DSD capability, and through the USB connection is pretty much unique".
