Stereo & Mono Bloc Power Amplifiers
M2Tech Rock Star Crosby
Stereo Power Amplifier
"A level of performance you can enjoy"
The Crosby is a versatile high efficiency Class-D Power Amplifier - a perfect partner for the Young MkIII - both in size and sound.
Clean power is available for a wide range of Speakers, with drive capability improved by setting to Bridge mode.
In this case, the Crosby becomes a powerful Mono Amplifier - two Crosbys in bridge mode can drive virtually
any Speaker, be it an array of dynamic drivers or an Electrostatic panel.
Of course, Crosby can be used with any Preamplifier, not only the Young DACS.
It provides for both Single-Ended and Balanced inputs, plus trigger input/pass-through.
Thanks to its class-D design it is virtually indestructible - all overload situations are reported on the front panel.

M2Tech Larson Mono-Blocs
From Germany Fairaudio put 'Tosh' Preamplifier to work ... driving 'Larson' Class A Mono Power Amps :
"The best that is available on the Power Amplifier side for up to 10,000 euros or more"
"The Manunta combo played happily for me for two months - and the Larson continued to play on my Wilson SabrinaX even after the listening sessions for this test were finished. Simply because I still wanted to listen to the Italian Monos, even though I can always fall back on selected, high-quality alternatives with my
Norma Audio REVO PA 150 (US$10K) and the Bryston 7B3 ($12,500 - Each)".
Remusic put the Larson Class A Monos to the test with a wide range of Speakers :
“In general, moreover, the speed of the transients and the dynamics are top of the class, as is the depth and control obtained on the low frequencies,
often a sore point of valve tubes”.
"That's why I visited my friend T. He owns a very complex Speaker system with field coil drive from Wolf von Langa - with a total of eight such woofers and mid-range drivers - based on Wolf von Langa's Chicago model. T usually operates these with Air Tight Mono Power Amplifiers ATM-2211, each with 32 watts.
"So far" ... these have been musically superior to any Transistor Power Amplifier used for comparison".

The Best of 2023 ! Geoffrey's Top 5 list :
Your author was not supposed to make any purchases in 2023 but unfortunately that did not work out.
We don't mind that very much because the Sonnet Kratos Power Amplifiers sound excellent, especially in combination with the Sonnet Morpheus.
The definition in the low range and the above-average imaging are particularly exceptional. In addition, there is the synergy with the DAC, which, when connected directly, allows even more of its class to pass through.
On our Revels we have a particularly balanced sound that is ideal for testing.
AudioKey REVIEWS !
CONCLUSION :
"Sonnet Audio is offering excellent value here with the Kratos Mono Block Amplifiers, taking into consideration the harmonically rich & spacious sound.
It was essentially impossible to find a flaw with these beautifully built Amps & they had plenty of power to drive 4 Ohm Speakers.
If a Digital library is the source, a perfect pairing would be Sonnet’s own Morpheus DAC with its Balanced outputs and built in volume control.
In fact, this would be the shortest & purest signal path.
Hats off to Sonnet Audio & their attention to detail & for producing products that put the music first.
There are very few excellent solid state amplifiers at this price range ... & even fewer Mono Blocks.
If the goal in the design was no frills sonic purity, it has been achieved with flying colours.
Highly recommended".
