Stepping up to the plate ... in matching Rockstar Series casework ... the VdG PSU has been designed to further enhance replay for all Rockstar products :

When it comes to High Audio performance, the quality of the current being delivered is all important. Noise in the supply current can contaminate sound quality or couple with critical circuits, like the clock, leading to less-than-optimal performance.

A low noise supply is therefore mandatory to squeeze the last bit of sound quality out of your DAC, Amplifier or other components. Of course, a low noise design involves quality design, space to accommodate and adds cost beyond those acceptable in most budget designs.

That’s why M2Tech offer the Van Der Graaf MkII. Owners using the Marley MKII Headphone Amp, Young MkIII or the Nash Phono Preampmplifier ... may later allocate a better budget to increase performance - by adding the Van Der Graaf MkII.

Extremely easy to use, benefits are gained from higher stability of the clocks (with related increased soundstage, clarity and more detailed resolution). This provides a darker background due to the lower noise floor.

The Van Der Graaf MkII retains the order users followed ... to activate the four outputs. When switching off, it follows the reverse order and remembers the activation order upon subsequent switch-on.

The Van Der Graaf MkII is provided with an IR receiver and is able to trap the ON/OFF commands from the remote controllers of all other Rockstars Series units. This allows users to power all the attached units - on and off with a single command with the right switching order.
